In honor of National Doctors’ Day, YCH hosted its 7th Annual YCH Choice Award, giving employees and patients the opportunity to nominate the Physician of the Year. Many nominations and comments were received praising the doctors and their many honorable qualities, but one stood out from the rest: Dr. John Barber!

As many of you know, Dr. Barber has been a General Surgeon at our facility since January 1992 and has always been a true asset to our hospital and community. Dr. Barber has chosen the YCH Auxiliary as his charity of choice and a donation will be given in his name. Congratulations to Dr. Barber for receiving the honor of YCH Physician of the Year 2018 and we thank you for all that you do!
