Laboratory
Diagnostic Services
Laboratory provides transfusion and phlebotomy services for both inpatients and outpatients – reference labs, clinics, and health fairs within the region.
Lab orders are accepted from local physicians and out-of-town physicians.
All orders require a written requisition, signed by the physician which includes the test name and a diagnosis related to the test(s) being ordered.
Outpatient Services
Please be aware that we have one Lab Technician available for weekends, and waiting times may be extended based on the number of inpatients and ER patients.
**All lab specimens that need to be sent to Clinical Pathology Labs (CPL), need to be drawn at the Registration/Lab Service Office in the Professional Office Building. Available Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. If you have any questions, please call 361.293.2321 ext. 505.**
Emergency Services
Available seven-days-a-week, 24-hours-a-day for emergency room visits and inpatient work.
